Meena Sankar Vidyalaya is ranked the #1 school in Tirunelveli by the Education World Grand Jury India School Rankings 2021-22.
We would like to express our gratitude to our teachers, parents and children. Whether online classes or physical classes, Meena Sankar Vidyalaya continues to empower our students to become Independent thinkers, Innovators and Leaders who can make a difference in the world.

Our students in middle school will be presenting their business ideas for the Young Enterpreneur Festival. Students will be sharing their marketing plans, start-up costs, budgets and also a prototype for each of their products. Students will be awarded Best Presentation and Most Innovative Awards.

All grades in our school celebrate Math, Social and Science expos during the year. In the Math Expo, students showcase projects that show how Mathematics is integral to our daily life and is core to all fields including Science, Architecture, Sports and even Culinary arts to mention a few.

Our students were ranked in the Top 2 of their respective categories in the state level ‘Build your City’ challenge conducted by Stemworks. The STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) challenge required students to identify issues in their city and recommend a solution to address the issue. The winning projects included a SMART Bike solution to address traffic, a Garbage recycle and management solution, and a Solar city project.

Our Kindergarten teachers conduct interactive ZOOM sessions to handle reading via Phonics, cursive writing, storytelling, Math and STEM based activities. In addition, they share creative videos after class to help reinforce concepts taught in class.

On Sept 20th, we conducted a live webinar on the National Education Policy 2020 with eminent panellists, Mr.Nandakumar Venkataraman (Datta Consultants), Mr. Narayanan Ramaswamy (National Leader, KPMG) and Mr.Vishnu Agnihotri (co-founder Genwise).
